Jan Fridrich
CHIEF INVESTMENT OFFICER, PARTNER
Jan has spent his entire professional life in the field of Corporate Finance and is responsible for the rational allocation of capital within the Ambeat group. He started as a financial analyst at PPF Group and later held various positions at the biotechnology company SOTIO, including Head of Business Development, Chief Financial Officer of the Boston branch, and Head of Market Access and Commercial Planning. Jan is a graduate of the University of Economics in Prague and the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business (Executive MBA).
Luboš Hovorka
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER OF AHC
Luboš has been with Ambeat since 2016. Through financial and operational management of individual branches, he has taken on responsibility for the management of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals sales and is accountable for the company's new projects. He graduated from the University of Economics in Prague with a focus on marketing and project management.
Jan Mačejovský
CEO AHC
Jan is the Executive Director for Health and Social Care in Inpatient Facilities. He has been with the group since 2021, and his main responsibilities include acquisitions, development, and operations of the company's inpatient facilities. He graduated from the University of Economics in Prague and holds an MBA from Warwick University. He has over 20 years of experience in various positions in the FMCG sector and spent six years managing a successful healthcare facility.
Michal Hauser
CEO SESTŘIČKA.CZ
Michal, the Executive Director for Field Health and Social Care, is responsible for acquisitions, development, and operations of home health and social care branches. He has extensive experience in management, mainly in the financial sector. He has held leadership positions both in the Czech Republic and abroad, including nearly six years as the Executive Director of PPF Insurance in Russia.
Radek Peřina
CHIEF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER, PARTNER
Radek Peřina has spent his entire professional career in the finance world, starting as an analyst at the investment company Pioneer and financial group PPF. He has served as Vice Chairman of the Board and Commercial Director of the Pension Fund of Česká pojišťovna (now Generali Pension Company a.s.) and held key business management positions in both Czech and international insurance companies. He also has extensive experience in managing key client and business partner relationships (e.g., at NN Life Insurance, Generali Česká pojišťovna). Additionally, he has been involved in managing business development projects, including the development of life insurance products. Radek is a graduate of the University of Economics in Prague, where he earned a degree in Economics.
Lukáš Barták
CEO, DIGITAL, MARKETING A IT
Lukáš has been part of the group since 2013. Within the group, he has progressed from analytical positions through marketing leadership to managing the technology division. He is responsible for the development of the Nexum and Webmium brands. Lukáš graduated from the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague with a degree in Operations and Economics. As part of his postgraduate education, he completed several Google programs.
Libor Táborský
CEO AND CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD
Libor has been serving as the CEO and Chairman of the Board of AHC a.s. since January 1, 2024. Despite his background in economics (University of Economics in Prague) and his extensive experience in banking (Czech National Bank, Citibank, Živnobanka/UniCredit Bank) from credit officer to branch manager, and his long-term managerial roles within the PPF financial group, the healthcare sector is not entirely new to him. Libor spent several years as the CEO of the Chinese branch of the biotechnology company Sotio (part of the PPF Group), which is dedicated to long-term research and clinical trials in the fight against cancer.
Michal Koubek
HEAD OF EXPANSION AHC
Michal has been with AHC since 2023, he is responsible for acquisitions of new facilities and international expansion of AHC network. He has 12 years experience from similar positions in PPF Group, he managed 6 years Moscow branch of Generali PPF Asset management. Before joining AHC he spent last 4 years as CFO of CreativeDock Group. Michal graduated from the University of Economics in Prague with focus on International relations.
Martin Ondráček
CEO AMBEAT DEVELOPMENT
Martin is the Executive Director of Development at Ambeat Group, responsible for expanding the company’s inpatient capacity through the construction of new facilities or refurbishment of older ones suitable for providing social and health care. He also oversees the facility management of the company’s buildings. Martin graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Brno University of Technology and has worked as a project manager on large investment projects in residential, industrial, and retail construction.
Magdaléna Foltýnová
INVESTMENT MANAGER, PARTNER
Magda is an Investment Manager at Ambeat Group, where she is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and evaluating investment and acquisition opportunities. She studied Informatics at the University of Augsburg (BSc.) in Germany. After her studies, she began working as a Project Manager for Nexum Trilog, a member of the Ambeat Group holding. To broaden her knowledge in the field of business, she then moved to South Korea for two years, where she attended Korea University and earned an MSc. in International Business.
Kristýna Heřmánková
LAWYER
Kristýna is a lawyer who provides comprehensive legal representation to the Ambeat group and advises us on compliance setup. Thanks to her professionalism, practical solutions, and strategic approach, we meet all legal and regulatory requirements. She draws on her extensive experience in both advocacy and corporate environments, and with her specialization in corporate law, intellectual property, IT law, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A), she is a valuable partner for us in making key business decisions.
Ivo Foltýn
FOUNDER
As the founder and managing partner, Ivo is responsible for managing the group, ensuring every significant detail is attended to, and making sure everything makes sense and works efficiently. During his studies, he started working as an analyst for PPF Investment Company and, over 16 years of working for the PPF Group in various positions in the Czech Republic and abroad, he gained experience from the best. Ivo is a graduate of the Brno University of Technology (Mechanical Engineering), the University of Economics in Prague (Economics), and the University of Chicago (MBA).

- We are establishing Ambeat Care SICAV, a retail real estate fund, a JV with Simplea insurance company from the Partners group.
We are launching a collaboration on a long-term care insurance product provided by Simplea. Ambeat Energy, a green energy operator, launches operations.
- Ambeat Group SE - relocation of the Group's headquarters to the Czech Republic.
Jan Fridrich, Radek Peřina and Magdaléna Foltýnová become partners of the parent company of the entire group, Ambeat Group SE.
Establishment of Ambeat Real Estate Consulting - facility management.
- Ivana Majerechová, Luboš Hovorka, Michal Hauser and Jan Mačejovský become partners in AHC.
- We are launching the e-sestricka.cz platform to manage and report home health care procedures.
- Ambeat Invest - real estate funds of qualified investors. With the establishment of the SICAV fund, we have created a space for institutional and qualified investors to invest in real estate projects that are used as long-term care residential facilities.
- Ambeat development - development of real estate projects, construction, reconstruction and operation of residential facilities in the long-term residential care segment.
- We are launching Medispot, selling medicine and medical devices.
- Ambeat Real Estate is established - the first specialized real estate entity, with more to follow. Václav Kratochvíl becomes a 10% owner of AHC.
- Webmium becomes a certified Google agency and we are part of the Google elevator accelerator programs.
- Nexum starts cooperation with Jablotron Group and dives into online marketing.
- Webmium launches an e-commerce platform.
- Webmium starts cooperation with Seznam.cz
- Establishment of the first home care provider, now under the name Sestricka.cz, marking the beginning of building a nationwide provider of field health care. Webmium starts as a web builder.
- Establishment of Ambeat Health Care, now AHC, a provider of residential health and social services, with gradual territorial expansion.
- Acquisition of nexum Trilog, start-up in the IT sector.
- After 16 years of working for Petr Kellner's PPF Group, Ivo Foltýn leaves PPF to found Ambeat. The founder's long-term vision is to gradually and patiently build a Czech financial group that will change the world, do good, and endure for generations. The initial capital is the founder's savings, followed by a $20M loan from Vlastislav Briza, owner of KOH-I-NOOR Holding a.s.
